Sierra Leone’s national telecoms regulator, NATCOM has, in a memo today informed all its staff that effective 18th January 2019 their services were no longer required.

The memo said this was in line with restructuring NATCOM to be more efficient and effective in servicing the industry.

Some reports say nearly 100 staff will be affected. However, they can reapply for their jobs before 11th January 2019, according to the documents.
