Abdulrahman Kamara, a butcher accused of theft, has made his first appearance before Magistrate Hannah Bonnie at the Pademba Road Magistrate Court No.1 on Friday April 12, 2019.

The accused was arraigned on a count charge of burglary and larceny contrary to law.

Police alleged that the accused on Sunday April 7, 2019, at No.3 Magazine Street, Freetown, with intent to steal, broke and entered the dwelling house of Mohamed Jalloh and stole the sum of Le 4,000,000, one Sonic D.V.D player valued at Le 250,000, one pair air max crepe and other items all to the total value of Le 4,960,0000, property of Mohamed Jalloh.

The charge was read and explained to the accused, but no plea was taken.

The accused was sent on remand at the Male Correctional Centre.

The matter was adjourned to Wednesday April 17, 2019.

Similarly, one Mohamed Kanu accused of conspiracy and larceny was also sent on remand by Magistrate Hannah Bonnie.

It was alleged that the accused on Monday April 8, 2019 at Wilkinson Road steal one Techno XBQ mobile phone value at Le 400,000 property of Mohamed Kanneh.

The accused was not represented by a lawyer. The matter was prosecuted by Inspector D.A.Taylor

The matter was adjourned to Wednesday April 17,2019..
