Just when we thought the unprecedented death of Sierra Leoneans home and abroad is dying down, we’ve gotten another shocker and there seems to be no end to the number of deaths befalling the country.
Sierra Leoneans are currently mourning the death of Malachi Abdul Shine, popularly known as Shine De God Son, a musician, rapper, entertainer and former staff of United Bank of Africa Sierra Leone Ltd.
The news of Shine’s demise came as a shock to many stakeholders in the entertainment industry who has fondly referred him as “Best Rapper Alive”.
Information gathered by Sierraloaded revealed that the deceased rapper had been sick for about two weeks now due to some abnormal swelling of the feet but had almost recovered and even walked by himself to watch a football match on Wednesday. However, renewed pain attributed to the feet reemerged on Friday morning which lead to his death around 4am.
“He was steadfast and was a fighter who will never rest on his laurels and always worked towards achieving his dreams. The Sierra Leone music industry will miss the “No More Dissing,No More beefing ” hit maker.”, a bereaved social media user posted on Facebook.
Sierraloaded recalls that Shine De God Son made plans to release a double album earlier in February which could have made him the second artist in the history of Sierra Leone music to do so after Kao Denero. Our sources understands that this among st others are feats which the ‘Never Die’ rapper couldn’t achieve before his sudden death.
