Julius Maada Bio, WINNER of the March 7th, 2018 presidential election in Sierra Leone says the people of Sierra Leone will hold Ernest Bai Koroma responsible for any offshoot from deferring the presidential runoff election and that this would lead to possible indictment and prosecution at the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

Bio also said the injunction matter seeking to prevent the runoff presidential election slated for 27.03.2018 is tabled in court because the incumbent APC party “don’t want the runoff election to proceed” and that the incumbent “knows the verdict of the overwhelming voters is not in their [APC] favour”.

“As Political Party we would hold President Koroma primarily responsible and as bearing the greatest responsibility for possible indictment and prosecution at the International Criminal Court in The Hague for any outbreak of large scale violence and ethnic cleansing in the runoff election and after”
