It has reached the news desk of NEW AGE press that management of Bank of Sierra Leone authorizes the disbursement of Le20 million as special impress to the police on 10th August, 2017 following an investigation against some officials of the bank.

The amount, our investigation revealed, was paid out to the police on the authority of one Alfred Gbekie (manager) and Samah (assistant director).

According to document in our possession, the money was given as impress to some CID personnel, which, no doubt, relates to corruption and misuse of public’s money by, of course, Bank of Sierra Leone officials.

BSL’s public relations officer, Beresford Taylor, was contacted and he promised getting to us in two hours but never did.
