Sources closed to the State Pathologist, Owiz Koroma have revealed to SALONE TIMES that 17 bullets were found in the dead body of the former military chief.
It could be recalled that the Former Army Chief of Staff, Rtd. Lieutenant General Samuel O Williams was killed by unknown gunmen at his resident in Devil Hole in the East end of Freetown in December last year.
According to Salone Times reliable source at mortuary, the former Chief of Staff was fired at close range and that post-mortem result confirmed that he was killed with a shot gun.
The report, Salone Times learnt depicts that the ribs of the former Chief of Staff were destroyed as the bullets burst entered his chest and exited through his back.
Meanwhile, the Sierra Leone Police has placed a ransom of over 50 Million Leones for any information that will lead to the murderers of the former Military Chief as no explanations have come from the security forces concerning the untimely death of the former Army Head.
Sierra Leoneans have urged the Sierra Leone Police to speedily investigate the matter and bring the killers to book.
The former Military Chief was buried yesterday Sunday 8 January 2017 at the Military War Graves in Lumley in the west end of Freetown.
